Bibliography
on demand service is particularly useful for the research scholars who are not
tech savvy and / or do not have access to electronic resources in general or a
particular database is not available in the nearby libraries. Bibliography/literature
can be provided to the scholars based on their requests.
Charges: ₹500/-
for up to 50 abstracts and ₹200/-
for up to 40 references without abstracts, registered postal charges extra.

In
order to keep in touch with the latest developments and to develop specialised
skills in accessing social science information, short-term training workshops /
seminars / interactive sessions and lectures are organised.

Development
In order to refine the employment opportunities of
upcoming library and information science professionals, NASSDOC carries out following
activities:

Apprenticeship:
One year practical training/exposure along
with experience certificate is provided to the students who have passed out
their B.L.I.Sc. / M.L.I.Sc.
b.
Internship Training:
One month rigorous internship training is provided to the Library &
Information Science students of various Universities to fulfil their course
requirement.
c.
Educational
Tour: NASSDOC
is part of curriculum of various Library and Information Science schools of
Indian universities and other educational institutions. Their students and
teachers visit NASSDOC to acquaint themselves with its programmes, functions, services
and technology.
