Applications are invited from graduates for the one-year Apprenticeship Program at the National Social Science Documentation Centre of the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi. The candidate must have recently obtained a degree/diploma in Library and Information Science and should not be born before 1st January 1991. Total of six positions are available with the stipend of Rs.15000/- per month. The candidate must possess knowledge of computers, library automation, library software and data entry skills. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH categories will be provided as per the norms of the Central Government. Only unemployed SC and ST Category candidates will be reimbursed 2nd class sleeper rail fare/bus fare from the shortest route on production of the original tickets. The shortlisted candidates will be called for written test consists of multiple-choice questions in Library and Information Science and Computer Skills.
