It was a great pleasure to convey that the ICSSR, NASSDOC has successfully organised an interactive training workshop for LIS profesionals entitled " Transformational Leadership Programme for Library & Information Service Professionals" during 7-11 Feb, 2011 at ICSSR main campus.
The National Social Science Documentation Centre (NASSDOC), which is an important component of ICSSR, is organised for the first time; such a unique programme which is designed to be a highly valued programme for motivating senior level officials working in Libraries and Information Centres. It was designed especially to enhance the image and managerial skills of Librarians and Information service professionals changing to be an effective and successful new environment while playing a key role in developing a knowledge based society in India.
